Before and After School Enrichment
What does your school age child want to do after school - be with their friends, play sports, do homework, make crafts, enjoy a healthy snack, learn something new, and have plenty of time to just be a kid and have fun? Do you need a safe space where you know your child is secure, supervised, and engaged? At Kokopelli we offer before and afterschool programs designed to keep students happy, healthy, and involved in fun, interactive activities. Every day we offer programs that assist in homework help, physical fitness, arts and crafts, group challenges, and fun hands on activities.
We are on the Chatfield-LoPresti Elementary School bus route in Seymour, Connecticut. During mornings and afternoons we provide supervised activities that are geared toward developing positive relationships and giving children the assets they need to be successful in life.
After a full day of school, kids need a chance to choose what they want to do including:
Enrichment Programs – We plan and design activities based on the interests of the group. Programs can include STEAM projects, arts and crafts, cooking, drawing and design, special guests and more.
Health and Fitness- We offer your child a nutritious snack and physical activity that encourages a healthy lifestyle.
Fun Recreation -Time to play, have fun, create, get dirty, and enjoy all the greats of childhood.
School Aged Programs
Ready for School
Students will start the day off right by getting into a good head space before school. Children at Kokopelli can enjoy a morning program that helps get them focused and prepared for the day ahead. Students can enjoy breakfast play cooperative games, complete crafts, and enjoy time for themselves before the busy day ahead.
After School Enrichment
Collaboration and self-awareness are encouraged through student-led activities, large-group experiences, and team-building games.
Projects are developed with and by students, around issues important to them and their community. These activities promote:

Students at Kokopelli stay active, focused, and engaged in both the mornings and afternoons. Specialty activities are designed to emphasize group dynamics, homework support, and character development. Your child will appreciate and enjoy the focused time along with open recreation “me” time.
